A shop owner is appealing for information after a substantial sum of money was stolen at knife-point from his premises on Sunday evening.
A male wearing a balaclava and gloves entered Callaghan’s XL Store on Main Street, Letterkenny at around 9.15 pm.
The shop assistant was forced at knifepoint to empty the till and hand over the day’s takings.
The male then made his way through the Rosemount area on foot.
