Man critical after Dublin assault

Gardai are still quizzing a 19-year-old man in connection with an attack in Rialto in Dublin yesterday evening. A man in his 20s is fighting for his life following a fight near the Luas Stop at around 5:30pm
It is reported the Crumlin man was injured with a broken bottle and is in an induced coma.
Local Dublin City Councillor Michael O’Sullivan is appealing for anyone with information about the attack to get in touch with Gardai.
“Absolutely anybody who has information to come forward – there is somebody in custody, but anybody who knows anything to come forward” he said.
“It’s in all our interests that people are allowed to go around the streets safely” he added.
