Sinn Fein accuse UUP of double standards over parades in Castlederg

A war of words has erupted in West Tyone over Sinn Fien plan’s to host a Castlederg Republican Commemoration.
rossUlster Unionist MLA Ross Hussey has said it will be a day of shame in Castlederg when a commemoration is held for IRA members who lost their lives during the conflict in Tyrone.
Sinn Fein are to hold a parade on the 11th August in the town to commemorate the lives of the 56 volunteers of the Tyrone Brigade of the IRA who died in the county during the troubles.
West Tyrone MLA, Ross Hussey said the IRA should not be commemorated in Castlederg, given the amount of people suffered at their hands in the town:

Responding, Sinn Fein West Tyrone MLA Barry McElduff has accused the UUP of double standards.
He said The Tyrone Volunteers’ Commemoration is always a poignant and dignified event held to honour the memory of the republican dead of Tyrone.
And he Barry McElduff said that it seems to be fine for loyalists to hold parades in and around Castlderg, but it’s not for Republicans:
