Post Mortem due to take place on Donegal drowning victim

A post mortem is due to take place today on the body of a woman recovered from the sea off the coast of Donegal yesterday evening.
It was feared a young child had been with the woman and a search was due to resume this morning – it has since been confirmed that no child had gone missing.
The woman’s body – who is understood to be from Derry – was recovered from Rockstown Harbour near Dunaffe in Inishowen at around half past 6 yesterday evening.
Her remains were taken Letterkenny General Hospital.
Speaking on today’s Shaun Doherty Show, Joe Joyce of Lough Swilly Lifeboat said it seems that the woman walked out to a island and was cut off by the tide………….
