
There were 46 admitted patients awaiting beds at Letterkenny University Hospital this morning, 17 of them on Emergency Department trolleys.
It’s the joint second highest in the country this morning along with Galway, with only Limerick returning a higher figure.
According to figures from the INMO, Sligo had the next highest figure with 43, meaning there were 99 patients without beds in the North West this morning, almost 20% of the national total.
