Donegal v Tyrone to start McKenna Cup

BZremJTCUAAN84fThe Ulster Council have confirmed the fixtures for the Dr. Mc Kenna Cup in January.
Donegal will start their Section A campaign  on Sunday the 5th with a home tie in Ballybofey against Tyrone. On the same day in Section B, Derry will go to Clones to play Monaghan.
The following Sunday, the 12th Jim Mc Guinness’ side will play their only away game as they head to the Athletics grounds to take on Armagh while Tyrone play host to Queens University at Healy Park.  Derry will be at home in Owenbeg to Fermanagh.
The final round of group games will be Wed 15th January. Donegal end their Section A matches at home in MacCumhaill Park to the visiting students of Queens and Tyrone remain in Omagh for their clash with Armagh. In Section B Derry play host to St Mary’s.
The semi finals will take place on Sunday 19th with the winners of Section A meeting the winners of Section B. The victors in C  will play the best runners up. The final will take place on the 25th.
