Eircom is denying that there is any threat to customer services in Letterkenny resulting from a voluntary redundancy programme.
A spokesperson has confirmed that the building at Kiltoy will close, as it is no longer required, but all services will be run from the telephone exchange behind the post office on Main Street.
Office based services will reduce because of the numbers taking the deal, but Eircom say there will be no impact on customer related services, including the recently launched high speed broadband network.
