Sligo Regional HospitalThe Health Service has agreed to pay almost 800-thousand euro to the family of a 29-year-old woman who died eight days after giving birth to her first child.
Dhara Kivlehan , who is a native of India, died in September of 2010 after developing pre-eclampsia and a related condition.
The High Court heard she did not receive the appropriate specialist medical treatment at Sligo General Hospital as she suffered multiple organ failure.
