Shane Lowry makes visit to Letterkenny and is targeting Ryder Cup in 2014

slowry1Shane Lowry is targeting a jump up the rankings and Ryder Cup contention next year.
The Offaly professional ended the year 77th in the world but feels that wasn’t a true reflection on his game.
The 2009 Irish Open winner has two pro victories to his name and says he would love the opportunity to play under Paul Mc Ginley at Gleneagles.
Shane who has teamed up with the Mc Gettigan family for the next three years was in Letterkenny this week for the launch of McGettigans at the Clanree Hotel,  where he spoke to Oisin Kelly.


Ballyliffen professional  Brendan Mc Carroll  is looking to build on his performances from this year and fight for a European Challenge Tour card in 2014.
Brendan has had 3 wins on the Alps tour over the last two seasons and is looking for a few more next year to make the step up.
Brendan Mc Carroll was also in Letterkenny this week where he joined his long time friend Shane  in Gettigans, and where he also spoke with Oisin Kelly.
