A Donegal County Councillor has criticised the levels of policing in rural areas throughout the county.
Councillor Gerry Crawfords comments come after a number of homes were burgled in the Raphoe area over the weekend.
At around 5 o’clock on Sunday morning, four homes were burgled in the Dromore and Ballyholey area. A quad bike, a van and a chainsaw were among the property stolen.
Cllr Crawford stated that residents were very concerned over the recent incident, particularly after a number of high profile burglaries in the past:
