County Council will have to meet again in effort to agree budget for 2014

Donegal County CouncilDonegal County Council will have to meet again in the new year in an effort to agree a revenue budget for 2014.
Management from the local authority presented their draft budget proposals for 2014 to Cllrs yesterday, but little to no progress was made.
The Fine Gael and Labour groupings on Donegal County Council have said they would have a few proposals to change the budget which they say would make the draft budget book even better.
And the Fine Gael party whip on the council has accused Fianna Fail of coming up with little or no proposals:


But Fianna Fail say there is no way they could vote to pass the budget as it is.
Party Whip Ciaran Brogan says currently, the main stumbling block for them is the uncertainty over the Irish Water takeover:
