They ran out comfortable 1-16 to 0-12 winners on Sunday over Galway at Pearse Stadium where Colm Mc Fadden scored 1-4 and Michael Murphy, Odhrán MacNiallais, Ryan Mc Hugh, Dermot Molloy, Patrick Mc Brearty and Declan Walsh also got on the scoresheet.
With two wins on the road to Laois and Galway Donegal lead they way by one point ahead on Monaghan in the early hunt for promotion.
