Mc Cartney seeks public inquiry into Campsie dump following Spotlight programme

There are calls for a full public enquiry into the illegal dump which was found last year on the Mobouy Road in Campsie on the outskirts of Derry.
Over 500,000 tonnes of illegal waste was discovered at the site.
Last June, the then Environment Minister Alex Attwood, revoked the license of the operator and commissioned an independent report which was published in December.
However, Foyle MLA Raymond Mc Cartmey says issues raised on a BBC Spotlight programme last night point to the need for a full public enquiry to restore confidence in the system……….
