Inishowen people in need of help waiting over 6 months to see MABS

Latest figures show the continued pressures on the MABS service in Inishowen with people waiting six and half months for their first appointment.
The Money Advice and Budgeting Service offers help for people in debt, or in danger of getting into debt.
One hundred and twenty one people are awaiting their first appointment with MABS in Inishowen, by far the highest figure in the country.
In Donegal South there is a four week wait while in Donegal West the wait is under two weeks
The figures were obtained by Sinn Féin EU Midlands North West candidate Matt Carthy – he says the wait in north Donegal for such a vital service is unacceptable:
