A Local election candidate has called for the resignation of the Minister of State for the Gaeltacht, Dinny McGinley.
Micheál Cholm Mac Giolla Easbuig says Minister McGinley has completely failed to defend the language and the Gaeltacht areas.
The independent candidate says the Irish language and culture are under severe threat, and he says as Minister of State for the Gaeltacht, Dinny McGinley has not fought hard enough:
