People in Lettermacaward and surrounding areas are being urged to attend a public meeting tonight in the local hall aimed at saving the local post office.
It follows a question mark raised over whether a replacement will be found for the existing postmaster who retires over the summer.
Local councillor David Alcornm says this will be one of his last issues before he bows out of local politics next month, and also one of the most important.
He’s confident Lettermacaward Post Office will be saved, saying there’s a very strong case to be made…….
