A ruptured cruciate ligament has ruled Tyrone’s Conor Clarke out for the rest of the season.
The extent of the injury which the Omagh man picked up during a senior club championship game at the weekend was confirmed by the results of an MRI scan this morning.
It’s a big loss for Tyrone who take on reigning provincial champions Monaghan in the Ulster quarter-final on Sunday week.
Conor said on twitter this morning “Not the summer I’d planned, but devastated to find out I’ve ruptured my cruciate.. Few tough months ahead but I’ll get there! #2015”
