Foyle MLA Pat Ramsey says he’s received a commitment from MInister Stephen Farry that any future capital requests from the University of Ulster in relation to the Magee campus in Derry will be looked at positively.
Mr Ramsey and the Foyle MP Mark Durkan met with Stephen Farry at Stprmont last evening after it emerged no business case was submitted to the Department when a £10 million new teaching block was declined funding recently.
Mr Ramsey says there is a need to refocus, and it’s important that Stephen Farry is aware of the importance of Magee as an economic driver for Derry and the entire North West………….
