House prices rise in Donegal

House prices in Donegal rose by 5.6% in the second quarter of the year.
This was the second highest rise in the country during the second quarter of this year, according to figures published today by myhome.ie.
However, the figures also show the county has the second cheapest house price levels in the country, at 75,000 for a three bedroom semi, with only Leitrim showing a lower average.
Nationally, asking prices for houses have risen for the first time in eight years.
According to myhome.ie, the national average is up by 1-point-3 per cent between March and June – with Dublin up by 4-point-5 per cent.
