O’Neill says Keane’s Villa post is a good arrangement

Roy Keane and Martin O'NeillIreland manager Martin O’Neill says that Roy Keane’s new job with Aston Villa will prove to be a “good arrangement” for the Irish squad.
Keane is set to divide his time between Ireland and the Premier League next season after agreeing to become Paul Lambert’s Assistant Coach at Villa Park.
He’ll join the club for pre-season training next week, which will allow him to continue coaching outside the international window and also monitor the progress of the Irish players in the Premier League.
Keane says that he remains “totally committed” to his Ireland role while the FAI say they are “comfortable” that the new arrangement will work well for the Irish team.
