Dublin City Council refuses licence for two Garth Brooks gigs

croke parkDublin City Council has refused an event licence for 2 Garth Brooks concerts at Croke Park.
3 of the 5 gigs scheduled for later this month have got the go ahead.
The city council has yet to issue it’s formal decision, but the GAA has confirmed the gigs for Monday the 28th and Tuesday the 29th will not now go ahead.
160,000 will be left disappointed by the decision to refuse permission for 2 of the sell out gig’s.
Cllr Ray Mc Adam says its the first time that Dublin City Council has refused permission for a concert.
