Harps look to build on Waterford win and get revenge on Rovers

Finn Harps featFinn Harps will be looking to build on last weekend’s 1-0 victory over Waterford United when they travel to Tallaght Stadium on Sunday to take on Shamrock Rovers’ B side (kick-off 2.00pm).
When these two sides met at Tallaght earlier in the season, Harps ran out 3-0 winners. However, Rovers got revenge when they beat Harps 1-0 at Finn Park at the beginning of May.
“Although we did well in Tallaght at start of season, we were beaten at home in the reverse fixture so we know how well they have improved,” said Harps boss Ollie Horgan as he looked forward to Sunday’s trip to Dublin.
“Also the uncertainty of teams that turn out this weekend (now that the transfer window open) will leave a question of new players playing against us. Shamrock Rovers play very decent football and keep possession excellently, we will be in for a long afternoon but looking forward to it. Also a few of their first team squad might play which will add to their already talented squad.”
Damien McNulty returns from suspension and apart from Sean McCarron, Horgan should have a full squad to pick from.
