Aileen Reid in action on Day 1 of the Commonwealth Games

The Commonwealth Games gets underway later after last night’s Opening Ceremony at Celtic Park in Glasgow.
Derry woman Aileen Reid is one six Northern Ireland athletes in action in the women’s and men’s individual events today.
Reid is seen as a medal hopeful in the women’s triathlon and if she is to get on the podium she will need a big performance like she put in during last years World Series Grand Final where she came home second.
