John Brown – the brother of former Eurovision winner and Presidential candidate Dana – has been found not guilty of all five charges of historic sexual abuse.
The 60-year-old was cleared of the allegations of indecent assault against two underage girls at locations in Northern Ireland and England during the 1970s.
A jury of six men and six women found him not guilty of two charges relating to the first complainant earlier today – before acquitting him of the three remaining counts relating to the second this afternoon – after nearly 12 hours of deliberations.
Mr Brown had denied all of the claims.
