Donegal Deputy Thomas Pringle has called on Donegal County Council to defer repair works that will close one of Donegal’s most popular attractions for at least a week during the tourist season.
Part of Sliabh Liag will be closed to walkers from next Monday for a week to allow repair works to be carried out.
The operation will see over 500 tonnes of stone airlifted on to the mountain by helicopter.
