Mark English is through to this evenings semi finals of the 800m at the European Championships in Zurich.
The Letterkenny man storming into the lead with 150 metres remaining and comfortably controlled from the front down the finishing straight to record the fastest time from the four heats.
The semi final starts at 7pm Irish time this evening and a top three finish will secure a place in Friday’s final.
