European bronze medalist Mark English is back on Irish soil this afternoon.
The UCD athlete from Letterkenny has had a week to remember after scoring an 800 metres bronze medal last Friday night, and on Sunday helping Ireland to fifth in the men’s 4-by-400 metres relay final, breaking the national record by two seconds.
The Irish team arrived this morning at Dublin Airport with English being greeted by a large crowd to welcome their hero home.
Coilin Duffy was there for Highland Radio Sport and spoke with Mark’s father Joe and firstly the man himself.
