Ramsey calls for interim arrangements as Housing Executive maintenance contract changes

Foyle MLA Pat Ramsey has expressed concern about the continuity of Housing Executive maintenance works in Derry after he was informed that the contract was awarded to a new firm.
Up to 40 jobs could be at risk as arrangements for the transfer of workers from the old contractor to the new company have not been completed.
Mr Ramsey says as well as the uncertainty over the jobs, there’s a question mark over whether or not neccessary maintainance work will be done from next Monday, when the new company is due to take over…..
