Mickey Donnelly’s position as Tyrone minor football manager is hanging in the balance after the county board failed to approve his ratification.
Donnelly and his assistant Kieran McHugh still have a year left of a two-year term, but agreement could not be reached at a county committee meeting earlier this week on whether they should remain in charge.
The issue has now been sent back to the clubs, who will ultimately decide the fate of the county’s minor management team.
Clubs have been asked to submit nominations for the post, according to Tyrone PRO Eunan Lindsay.
