English 4th among the world’s top 800 men

Mark English brought his season to a close on Sunday with a 4th place finish in Morocco.
Competing for Europe in the IAAF Continental Cup in Marrakech, The European Bronze medalist ran a time of 1:45.74 in the 800m.
It was a good two laps by the UCD student who was taking on the world’s best at that distance.
The fastest man this year, Nijel Amos, lived up to expectations to win in 1:44.88, leading an African one-two as Mohammed Aman followed him across the line.
