A Kilcar man,who looks set to be Ireland’s newest Senator, says he is honoured and delighted with the opportunity.
37 year-old businessman John McNulty is the Government’s choice to replace Deirdre Clune who was elected to the European Parliament.
Given the government’s majority, it seems certain that Mr McNulty will become a Senator next month.
