The Managing Director of McElhinneys in Ballybofey has said that the company will take on more staff if they get the go ahead for a new extension.
Last week, it was announced that the owners of Donegals biggest department store had applied to the county council for a four storey extension.
The decision on the planning permission is due next month. McElhinneys currently employ around 180 people.
