The prospect of Donegal hauliers being forced to pay a HGV levy when they enter Northern Ireland has moved a step closer.
Sinn Fein is claiming the Environment Committee at Stormont has effectively given the go ahead for the levy to be implemented.
West Tyrone MLA Barry Mc Elduff says he will attempt to block the levy when it is brought on to the floor of the assembly for ratification, and is urging other MLAs to back him.
He says not enough is being done by the DOE and the Environment Minister to stop the levy……..
