Referees to meet on club championship withdrawal

Referees in the county will meet tonight in Letterkenny to discuss the possibility of withdrawing their services from this weekend’s 17 club championships matches.
The dispute is centred on the referee’s All Ireland ticket allocation where they received one each.
Donegal Referee’s Administrator Pat Walsh has told today’s Donegal Democrat, that the matter has already been sorted and that the games will go ahead.
Walsh says that a meeting between the referees and the county board will take place next week.
He added he will not be in attendance at this evenings meeting.
