Two arrested in connection waterside burglary

Police at Strand Road have arrested two males in connection with the theft of a vehicle and also a burglary  in the area of Ivy Mead, Waterside, Derry in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Detective Inspector David McQuade said the men, aged 20 and 21, were arrested after a stolen car rammed a police vehicle on the Benview Road, Londonderry.
Three police officers received minor injuries following the collision and damage was also caused to a stationary vehicle and a garden wall of a nearby property.
The men are currently assisting police with their enquiries at Strand Road police station.
