Women drivers in Donegal much safer than men

New statistics indicate that Donegal’s women are safer drivers than men.
End of year Central Statistics Office figures show that in last year 1,377 penalty points were issued to women in County Donegal compared to 2,325 points to men.
There were just under 29 thousand woman drivers in Donegal traveling an average of 18,223km per year. 30,677 cars were driven by men with each traveling an average of 18,649
