National Crime Prevention Day of Action is taking place tomorrow.
Its main focus will be on theft from shops prevention advice and seasonal safety.
Gardai are warning shoplifting and burglaries tend to peak particularly at this time of year, with the dark evenings and the run up to Christmas therefore it will be important to be extra vigilant.
