Weather Warning in place for Co. Donegal

Motorists are being advised to drive with extra care this evening and tomorrow morning, as a weather alert is in place for the Northwest.
Met Eireann has issued a status yellow snow and ice warning for Co. Donegal and will remain  in place until tomorrow morning at 10.00 am.
Thundery showers are expected to turn wintry in parts of the county, particularly in areas of higher ground.
Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo have also been issued with the status yellow warning.
