The Road Safety Group PARC has had its first formal meeting with Transport Minister Pascal Donaghue.
The meeting took place yesterday, with the minister promising to come back to the group with the answers to a number of their questions.
Just before Christmas, Mr Donaghue rushed through legislation to plug a loophole in the penalty points regieme, and he told PARC yesterday that money would be made available to gardai to upgrade their IT system.
