The HSE says a staff shortage caused by sick leave is to blame for the closure of the ante-natal clinic and gynaecological services at Dungloe Community Hospital
They have been relocated to Letterkenny General Hospital.
The Saolta University Health Care Group says it appreciates that this is a significant inconvenience to expectant mothers and other women who have been using the Dungloe out-reach service.
