Remand for Carndonagh man accused of murdering parents

A Donegal man charged with the murder of his elderly parents has been remanded in custody following a brief court appearance.
42-year-old Julian Cuddihy of Churchtown, Carndonagh, appeared in court today at a remand hearing at Harristown District Court in Co Roscommon, which is adjacent to Castlerea Prison.
He is charged with the murder of his parents 77-year-old Jimmy and 73-year-old Kathleen at the family home in Carndonagh on or around October 22nd.
Mr Cuddihy has been in custody at Castlrea since he was remanded at a sitting of Ballyshannon District Court on October 24th.
Mr Cuddihy will appear again before Harristown District Court on February 13th.
