The North’s Housing Minister is being urged to initiate a major house building programme in West Tyrone.
SDLP Westminster candidate Daniel McCrossan says there are over 1,200 people on the waiting list for houses in Strabane and Omagh, many of them living in conditions of significant stress.
He claims the figures are a shocking indictment of the Department of Social Development, and says its time Housing Minister Mervyn Storey took action………..
