IRFU to start contract talks with Ireland Coach Joe Schmidt

The IRFU have confirmed they’ve opened talks with Ireland coach Joe Schmidt about an extension to his current contract.
Cheif Executive Philip Browne says they’re in discussions and they will come to “some sort of conclusion” in the next few months.
Schmidt has won two Six Nations titles in row with Ireland, his current contract runs until the end of next season.
