It was confirmed today that Buncrana’s Gaelscoil Coláiste Chineál Eoghain will remain open.
It is a u-turn on an earlier announcement from the Education and Training Board that the school was closing-a decision described as the “death knell” for the peninsula’s Irish language primary and pre-schools
The news that the school will remain open was confirmed at a meeting this afternoon of he Donegal Education Training Board.
