Donegal Deputy Charlie McConalogue says if the government goes ahead with plans to cut the One Parent Family Payment in July, some Donegal families will be forced into poverty.
He says families will lose up to €80 a week, as the age threshold for qualification is cut from 16 to 7.
Deputy McConalogue says the payment allows some families to keep their heads above water, and cutting it will haver serious consequences………
