A 36 year old man arrested in connection with an assault on a woman in Derry yesterday has been bailed pending further enquiries in relation to the incident.
A woman in her 30s was attacked on the Creggan Road in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Police said the woman was taken to hospital “for treatment for a number of stab wounds to her abdomen and bruising to her face”.
They added that her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
