Man rushed to hospital after falling overboard of fishing vessel

A man has been rushed to Letterkenny General Hospital after he fell overboard off a fishing boat this afternoon.
The man was one of two men working on a lobster boat off Horn Head this afternoon when the accident occurred.
Mulroy Coastguard were the first on the scene and managed to pluck the man from the water.
He was then taken by the Rescue 118 helicopter to Letterkenny General Hospital.
The crew member’s condition is not yet known, but he is said to be seriously ill.
