Rosapenna hosts Irish Women’s Close Championship this weekend

The Irish Women’s Close Championship takes place this weekend at Rosapenna Golf Club.
The world’s number one amateur player Leona Maguire and the best lady golfers in Ireland will tackle the famous Donegal links course.
Other top names to participate include Leona’s sister Lisa Maguire also of the Slieve Russell club, Royal County Down’s Danielle McVeigh and Olivia Mehaffey and Chloe Ryan from Castletroy.
Pre event practice starts today while the qualifying rounds will be held on Saturday.
The match play action starts on Sunday 21st with the semi finals and final scheduled for next Tuesday 23rd.
