Letterkenny General Hospital had the fourth highest number of patients waiting for beds in the country yesterday.
Figures released by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show there were 28 people waiting, 10 on wards and 18 on trolleys.
Patient waiting times has been on the increase for the past number of weeks, but recent days have seen a major jump.
