A Derry councillor has hit out at a gang who set fire to plastic safety barriers and traffic cones being used for roadworks on the Madams Bank Road.
Building materials were also taken from a nearby building site and set alight.
The Fire Service and the PSNI were both called out to attend the scene on Friday night.
Cllr Sandra Duffy is urging those responsible to stop, saying attacking any sort of road safety measure is placing the lives of motorists and pedestrians in danger………….
